NICO was born on 1st February in Ploiesti and everytime she remembers her childhood she also remembers what she wanted to be when she grew up."

I always wanted to be a star and I think that it was the biggest desire of my childhood. And I am truly telling you that I was always singing - day and night or night and day.

Life offered me many wonderful moments thanks to the music that I am singing, the public and also my lovely family.

In 1990 NICO graduated from "The Popular Art School" and starting from 1996 she attended several Romanian performing Contests where she won some very significant prizes (at least for her).

My endless love for music and for my fans will always give me power to continue my work and will not permit me to give up on my dreams...

• Between 1996 and 1999 "The Prize for The Best Female Voice" awarded on National Festival of Variety Shows Theatres from Constantza.
• 1998 - "The Prize for The Best Female Voice" awarded on "Ion Vasilescu" Festival.
• 2003 - "The Second Prize" at the "GOLDEN STAG" International Pop Music Festival - Brasov, Romania
• 2004 - "The Trophy" and also 4 other prizes at "The Discovery Fest" Festival - Varna, Bulgaria
• 2004 - "The Greatest Prize" and also "The Voice of Asia Trophy" at "Voice of Asia" Festival - Alma-ata, Kazakhstan
• 2004 - "The Second Prize" at "MAMAIA" National Pop Music Festival - Constantza, Romania (Composing Section - Composer: Andrei Tudor)
• 2005 - "The Special Prize of the Jury's President" at "ASTANA" Song Festival - Astana, Kazakhstan
• Nico competed in the Romanian Selection for Eurovision in 2003 (song: "The only one"), 2004 (song: "Feeling Snow White"), 2005 with Mihai Traistariu performing "All the time" (3rd), in 2006 with Akcent, performing "Jokero" (the runner-up that year) and in 2007 performing "Dulce-amaruie" and "Love is all you need" .
